Helga Wybrow is a dedicated and influential figure in the AFL Ontario community, known for her extensive contributions to various clubs and the league as a whole. Helga’s club affiliations include the Broadview Hawks from 1993 to 1995, the Toronto Dingos from 1996 to 2000, and the Guelph Gargoyles in 2006. Her leadership roles within these clubs have been instrumental in their success and development. She served as President of the Broadview Hawks in 1993 and 1994, Vice President in 1995, and Team Manager from 1993 to 1995. With the Toronto Dingos, she was Vice President in 1996 and Team Manager from 1997 to 2000. In 2006, she also took on the role of Team Manager for the Guelph Gargoyles.
Her executive contributions to the league include serving as CAFA Vice President in 1994 and 1995, Secretary in 1996, and holding various club executive positions from 1993 to 1995. She was also the Host Coordinator for the Balmain team in 1993 and the UK Touring Team in 1994, demonstrating her ability to manage and coordinate international events. Helga’s commitment to Team Canada was evident as she served as Team Manager in 1995 and for the International Cup Team in 2008.
Helga’s dedication to the sport is further highlighted by her role as a founding member of both the Toronto Dingos in 1996 and the Guelph Gargoyles in 2006.
