Troy Marsh is a prominent figure in the AFL Ontario community, known for his remarkable contributions as a player and leader. His career with the Toronto Eagles spanned from 1998 to 2009 and 2012 to 2014, during which he played 184 games and scored an impressive 322 goals. Troy’s leadership on the field was evident as he captained the team in 1998 and from 2000 to 2009, leading the Eagles to premiership victories in 1998, 1999, 2002, 2006, 2007, and 2009.

Troy’s exceptional performance earned him numerous awards and honours. He was named Grand Final MVP in 1999 and 2006 and was the CAFA Leading Goal Kicker in 1999. His consistency and skill were further recognized as he won the Toronto Eagles Best & Fairest award ten times, from 1998 and 2000 to 2009, and was the team’s leading goal kicker in 1998 and 1999.

On the national stage, Marsh represented Team Canada in 1999, showcasing his talent at an international level. He was also a key player for the All Ontario Team, serving as captain in 2003 and 2009, vice-captain in 2004, and being selected for the team in 2005 and 2008.

Troy’s dedication, leadership, and outstanding performance have left an indelible mark on the AFL Ontario community. His contributions have been instrumental in the success of the Toronto Eagles and have inspired future generations of players.
